The All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) has appointed Mr. Vipan Mehta as Chairman and Mr. Sanjeev Sikka as Chief Convenor of the 12th edition of India Rubber Expo (IRE) 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from 7-10 April 2026 at ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

A prominent industry leader, Mr. Vipan Mehta has served as AIRIA's Northern Region Chairman, NRC core committee member and Vice President. As Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of M.B. Rubber Pvt. Ltd., he has played a key role in strengthening India's global rubber industry. Under his leadership, IRE 2026 promises to be a landmark event with 35,000+ visitors and over 400 global exhibitors. "It is an honor to lead India's largest rubber industry exhibition. IRE 2026 - Innovate, Connect, Transform will be a global hub for innovation, collaboration, and business growth", said Mr. Mehta.

Mr. Sanjeev Sikka is a prominent name in the rubber industry who has served as a Chairman of AIRIA - Northern Region for two consecutive years (2018-2020). He has also been a member of the core committee of NRC and Vice President from (2022-2023).
His passion for sports especially cricket pushed him to set up an Industrial Plant at Sahibabad Industrial Area, Ghaziabad under the name of Majestic Rubber Industries, for the manufacturing of Synthetic Rubber Sheets for all types of Inflatable Balls and later into the Rubber Products to be used into the Cricket Industry. He has been instrumental into multiple Innovative Rubber Sports Products registered under Design & Patent Act and manufacturing for some of the World's Renowned Brands.
Speaking on his new role, Mr. Sanjeev Sikka said, "India Rubber Expo has always been a pivotal event for the rubber industry.
